Terry Horgan MVB MRCVS - Partner
Terry is an extremely experienced equine vet with over 30 years experience, since graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 1973. He has been vet to both the Irish Senior and English Young Rider Event Teams, and an FEI veterinary delegate at Blenheim Horse Trials. His interests lie particularly in the management of the competition horse, including pre-purchase examinations as well as stud medicine. Terry is also an experienced horseman. He has evented at 3 and 4 star level and was a member of the Irish Three Day Event Team from 1986 to 1996, competing in the European and World Three Day Eventing Championships. Hunting has been an important part of Terry's life for many years, and he regularly enjoys days with the Bicester with Whaddon Chase Hunt.

Peter Fennelly MVB MRCVS - Partner
Peter has been an equine vet for over 20 years since qualifying from Dublin in 1982. He joined the practice in 1987 and became a partner in 1990. Peter comes from a long line of equine vets, following in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather. Since joining the practice he has been the resident vet on the thoroughbred stud Juddmonte Farm near Henley. Peter has since built up a wealth of experience in stud medicine, and during the stud season this occupies much of his time although his interests are not just restricted to stud work.

Tim Brown MA VetMB MRCVS - Partner
Tim graduated from Cambridge University in 1984. He has a broad base of veterinary experience having spent 9 years in mixed (mainly equine) practice before joining our equine practice in 1993. He became a partner in 1995. His experience has given him valuable surgical skills and he performs most of the operations at our hospital. He is particularly interested in surgery and orthopaedics. Tim is also an experienced stud vet, and like the other partners, this occupies much of his time during the stud season. Tim has been a keen horseman in the past, while at University and during his first years in practice, he spent a total of 10 years riding out for racing stables in Newmarket and elsewhere. |

Bob Baskerville BVSc, MRCVS - Senior Consultant
Bob is an extremely experienced equine vet. He graduated from Bristol University in 1965 and has spent over 40 years in equine practice, having established Baskerville, Horgan & Partners as the Equine Branch to the Practice. During this time he has been Team Vet to both the British Young Rider and Junior Eventing Teams, a past member of the senior selection committee for the British Horse Trials association, and he is also an FEI veterinary delegate at horse trials including Blenheim and Punchestown. In his spare time Bob enjoys hunting with the Vale of Aylesbury Hunt and Bicester Hunt and going racing. Bob retired as a Partner at the end of 2008, but continues to work full time for the Practice.

Edward Brett MVB MRCVS
Edward graduated from University College Dublin in 1997. He spent 2 years in a mixed practice in Devon before joining the equine practice in 1999. As well as supporting Tim and Terry in the north of the practice, he is our resident 24hr veterinary surgeon at our Barrettstown Equine Clinic, where he is responsible for the care of inpatients and for much of the diagnostic work - including x-ray and ultrasound scanning, and for treatments such as shockwave therapy. Edward has a keen interest in the racing industry and rides out for a trainer in Gloucester when he can.

Katie Robinson BVSc MRCVS
Katie has worked at our equine practice since graduating from Bristol University in 2000. She works in the south of the practice, and provides a dedicated service to our competition and leisure clients. Katie is no stranger to equine competition herself, she has grown up with horses and much of her spare time is spent helping her family at their event yard in north Oxfordshire. |

Sally Wise MA VetMB MRCVS
Having graduated from Cambridge in 2002, Sally joined the Practice in July 2005. Sally mainly covers the north of our area. |

Adrian Farrington BVSc MRCVS
Adrian graduated from Bristol University in 2005. He spent a year working in a mixed practice in Bedfordshire before Joining Baskerville Horgan & Partners in December 2006. A 2nd generation equine vet, Adrian enjoys all aspects of equine general practice and has a particular interest in sport horse medicine. Adrian primarily works in the southern area of our Practice. |

Rosie Good VN - Equine Head Nurse
Having trained as a Veterinary Nurse at Berkshire College, Rosie has progressed to head nurse positions for several veterinary practices. Rosie became Head Nurse at our Small Animal Hospital in xxxx, before further specialising in equine veterinary nursing and moving across to our Equine Clinic in 1997. As well as being responsible for the day-to-day running of our Equine Clinic, Rosie is responsible for nurse training as well as working alongside the rest of the team at Barrettstown. |

Equine Clinic Assistants / Grooms
Between them our Equine Clinic Assistants/Grooms have an extensive background in horses: from the BHS stages to work on a National Hunt yard, stud groom training and running livery yards. As a team they ensure the smooth running of the yard, assisting our veterinary surgeons in the theatre, and with examinations and x-rays. The team provide further support out of hours to ensure that we can offer a comprehensive 24/7 service. |
